This crowdfunding campaign is to help support the artists of Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen in their final showcase. One of their artists has worked closely with ChiKuru Malice, and Anthology Records, so by helping them you will also be helping us!
Here's what they have to say:
"We are a group of final year students studying painting at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen. June 2015 is the month we have been working towards for four years - it is the launch of our future careers after all.
As fourth year students we are given the opportunity to showcase some pieces from the body of our work in a Degree Show. This is open to family, friends, prospective clients, critics and companies - with access for the community of Aberdeen as a whole. It is the biggest night not only in the Gray's School of Art calendar but the largest exhibition of work in the North East annually. The speciality of this occasion is heightened this year as it marks the 130th year of graduates to pass through the door of Gray's!
Our goal?
Putting on a show is a time consuming and costly process and we need your help to achieve our goal - a show to gain something from. Our show will run for a week including a spectacular opening night where all departments within the school and guests embark on an evening of discussion, discovery and celebration.
We hope to produce a high quality catalogue that is beneficial not only for us as professionals but as a way for visitors to gain a greater insight into the work being produced by emerging artists in the North East of Scotland. Your donations will allow us to create a professional catalogue, which will be a vital addition to our show for a number of reasons:
All proceeds of the catalogues we sell at the show and any surplus from our fundraising will be given to two local charities.
It serves as an acting memento of the show and of our work as a cohort, which visitors can take home with them. It will contain a collection of photographs alongside details of the artists and their work.
On a professional level, it works as a networking tool to open avenues of conversation with the potential to start dialogue about further opportunities.
The catalogue works as a form of documentation that allows us, as well as future students and other artists, to reflect on the work that was produced by final year painting students in Aberdeen, 2015.
We need to reach a total of £3000 to put our catalogues into production. This is a lot of money but through past fundraising events we are already on route to success but need your help for a final push!
...but what's in it for you?
As a gesture of thanks, we have created a number of perks for you too, should you wish to receive them!

A final note,
Of course we realise that many of you would love to help us financially if you could but unfortunately can't afford to, Don't be fooled - you can still support us! We would greatly appreciate it if you could spread the word to your friends, family or anyone who you think may be interested!
We really can't do this without your help! However, no matter how big or small a donation you can give, we hope you realise the opportunities that you are opening for us! After the success of our pre-degree show in Edinburgh we can't wait to bring a show back to home ground showing what we do best - PAINTING!
We hope you can all join us at our degree show at Gray's School of Art from the 19th-28th June 2015 where we would love to thank you all in person for your kind donations.
